Enable for JavaScript

In an Internet Explorer browser:  go to View or Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, and enable the two Java functions.  In Explorer 5+, go also to Tools, Internet Options, Security, Custom Level, Java permissions, and enable only Medium safety.  At this level, the use of frames should be enabled in two places as well.

In Netscape Communicator:  go to Edit, Preferences, Advanced, and enable Java and JavaScript.

It is recommended to restart the computer if any changes were made.
