On 6 November, the GCS poll stacked the odds 10/6 in Staffan Sellgren's favour.  However, Hans Westin had been practicing at a secret course outside Belgium.  To whom would Murphy's law apply?		  
© Christie's Images, Inc. 2001. On 7 November, Hans won 2/1.  Said Staffan:  "Hans småchippar rigtigt dugtigt och se'n dansar han världens krigsdans ... du kan inte hindra det;  det kommer automatiskt".   "Staffan var en tuff competitor. Han hadde fömågan att stutsa tillbaka hela tiden".
