Purpose: |
SIC is a Brussels based forum for Swedish speaking people
interested in the financial and equity markets. SIC’s purpose
is networking to achieve an exchange of information and
knowledge. |

Meetings: |
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month, except
for July and August. The meetings start with a general
gathering and drink at 18:00 followed, at 18:30, by different
formal presentations. A joint dinner is served at 20:00 and the
meetings then continue at 21:00 to end around 22:00.
Presentations at the SIC meetings are made by speakers from
major financial institutions, corporations and organizations.
The aim is to introduce the SIC members to new information and
financial products and services of common interest. |

Membership: |
Most of the members are Swedes living in Belgium. Members have
experience from executive positions within business or public
management, from operating their own businesses or from their
own wealth management. Members are also expected to participate
actively during SIC meetings and contribute based on their own
experiences. Individuals interested in joining SIC are expected
to present themselves e.g. through a CV and to participate in a
meeting for mutual exchange of information. |

Miscellaneous: |
SIC is a network without a charter or other
formalities. The annual membership fee is EUR 50. The joint
dinner during each meeting is paid separately and is subsidized
for members to EUR 30. |
